Cocktail Lounge chair

Cocktail Lounge chair
An elegant lounge chair. Snug and organic, it combines classic virtues with warmth and character. The chair was designed in 1953, by the acclaimed Danish designer Arne Hovmand-Olsen, who became famous for his innovative, Scandinavian-style furniture. The Hovmand is an original, beautifully crafted design item that is perfect for a favourite corner in the living room, or in a bedroom or office. It will also add a beautiful finishing touch to any sofa group. The generous upholstery lends fullness and, together with the buttons, evokes the 1950s, while the exclusive choice of fabric makes the design totally contemporary. The angled legs lifts the chair elegantly off the floor, creating a counterpoint to the soft weight of the upholstery, while the stylish curved arms and rounded details highlight a soft, feminine expression. The sophisticated arms add a lovely finishing touch to the design, inviting you to loll in the chair’s embrace. For added comfort, there is also a classic pouf in the same sleek design. Put your feet up as you read a magazine or newspaper, or listen to a good audiobook or podcast.
