JO HAMMERBORG

A TRIBUTE TO JO HAMMERBORG
Warm Nordic can proudly present another recognized name from the bright Danish design heritage in its design universe: Jo Hammerborg. In the 100th anniversary of his birth, a new Jo Hammerborg line is launched as a tribute to the iconic lighting designer, who has left a significant mark on the lighting in Danish homes with his special approach to design and lighting effect.
Jo Hammerborg was inspired by the early functionalists and had a deep desire to make original lamp designs available to everyone and thereby encourage a modern and simple interior design. Now the wish is fulfilled again.

TWO ORIGINAL SERIES IN A TIMELESS DESIGN
Warm Nordic, in collaboration with Jo Hammerborg's descendants, reintroduces two original lamp series from the 60s and 70s with classic status: Trombone and Milieu.
Trombone didn't just become the lighting designer's own favourite, which he always found a place for at home. The series' lamps have also found their way into Danish homes in large numbers with their tight geometric design. Milieu offers a more organic design with its shape like a hemisphere that unfolds in several layers, a clear reference to Jo Hammerborg's passion for skydiving, which together with the sky was an eternal source of inspiration for him.m.

TROMBONE SERIES
The Trombone series was designed in 1966 by the renowned Danish lighting designer Jo Hammerborg, who was behind a long series of original lamps, several of which have gained classic status over time, based on cylindrical shades. Precisely Trombone offered a number of technical challenges during the design process and therefore took on a special meaning for Jo Hammerborg, as his vision succeeded and the lamp is among the designs that had a place of honor in his own home throughout his life.m.
Simple and elegant lamp in a tight geometric design. The well-composed Trombone lamp will stand out as a beautiful feature in many of the home's rooms. The series includes a pendant, a table lamp and a floor lamp.
A CLEAR AMBITION
Jo Hammerborg was inspired by the early functionalists and had a deep desire to make original lamp designs available to everyone and thereby encourage a modern and simple interior design.
Now the wish is fulfilled again.
The prize-winning Danish designer will have a special place at the heart of Warm Nordic together with two other masters in the art of lighting: Danish Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen and Swedish Hans-Agne Jakobsson.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PENDULUM FROM 1975
Elegant pendant light with a breathtaking organic design. The Milieu series was originally designed in 1975 by Jo Hammerborg, who was behind a long series of original lamps, several of which have gained classic status over time based on the soft organic lines. Milieu Mini Color is designed in metal and is available in Clear White..
The beautiful Milieu Mini Color pendant floats lightly and elegantly in the room, as if it were a celestial body in the celestial space that Jo Hammerborg was so fascinated by. The pendant is shaped like a hemisphere and is a multi-layered lamp design, creating a beautiful light effect that does not dazzle. The original design is inspired by Jo Hammerborg's great passion for flying and skydiving: the individual layers unfold beautifully, exactly like a parachute, and the pendant possesses a distinctive harmony and lightness that makes it a true design classic.
