Surfboard

Surfboard
A classic wooden coffee table with an extraordinarily beautiful design, created in the 1950s by the acclaimed Danish furniture designer, Arne Hovmand-Olsen. The design of the tabletop drew its inspiration from the shape of a surfboard, lending the coffee table an innate lightness and extraordinary beauty that will effortlessly glide into any modern interior. The length of the tabletop is a real plus when many people are seated on a sofa, while the understated, elegant bend at the ends really comes into its own when you view Surfboard in profile. The coffee table comes in teak and walnut as a clear homage to the 1950s or in oak with a more modern feel.
Choose from several types of wood and exquisite finishes.

DESIGNER
Arne Hovmand Olsen
Arne Hovmand-Olsen (1919-1989) had the world in mind, both before and after the 1950s, when he became one of Denmark’s renowned furniture designers.
